We conducted a Type 2 Energy Audit on the Archive building, one of many sites operated by the Catholic Diocese of Townsville. Energy use characteristics were determined within the building which enabled us to identify appropriate energy efficiency strategies and initiatives. These recommendations included the design of a 15kWp solar PV system to off-set the high daytime grid feed in power consumption. The system has the potential to produce approximately 27,579kWh/year and significantly reduce on-site electricity costs.
Admin Building

We conducted a Type 2 Energy Audit on the Admin building, one of many sites operated by the Catholic Diocese of Townsville. Energy use characteristics were determined within the building which enabled us to identify appropriate energy efficiency strategies and initiatives. These recommendations included the design of a 36kWp solar PV system to off-set the high daytime grid feed in power consumption. The system has the potential to produce approximately 63,316kWh/year and significantly reduce on-site electricity costs.
Our recommendations, coupled with the installation of the solar PV system brought the sites annual electricity consumption down below 100,000kWh/year. This enabled the site to change its tariff classification, resulting in significant savings made from reduced tariff charges.
