Townsville Day Surgery has been the Townsville centre for Day Surgery since 2003, and services both the local community and the broader North Queensland region. The facility runs two operating theatres and two endoscopy procedure rooms, treating more than 7,000 patients per year. Tropical Energy Solutions designed and installed a 97.5kW PV solar system which will dramatically reduce the surgery’s operating costs. The system consists of 375 (260W) Solar PV modules and 3 (33kW) solar Inverters.
