Mariners Peninsula – Energy Audit
Tropical Energy Solutions was commissioned by Ergon Energy under the Townsville Network Demand Management Pilot Project to conduct an energy evaluation on Mariners Peninsula Body Corporate, a 100+ apartment building located on the Strand in Townsville.
The purpose of this program was to identify energy saving opportunities for energy customers with high electricity usage.
The load inventory developed from the audit identified a gap between the metered consumption data and calculated on site demand.
Consequently a metering correction was made which saved the client $440k in previous electricity costs and provided Ergon Energy with better data to plan infrastructure growth augmentations on the distribution network.
